Weak expensive drinks neat place though

I worked in service industry for many years and a smile or on some days I had to give a fake smile but whatever it takes to make customer feel good enough to come back and spend more $

Good food, great atmosphere, fun place for the entire family. Don't be in a hurry, let the kids play on the beach or on the pirate ship, relax and soak in the summer.

Slow service, but great atmosphere. It will take 30-45min. to get your food, but the outside place is fun and next to the beach. Even have beanbag boards out to play while you wait.

It's a fun little place right on the water. Be careful though they are soon not going to take cards and only accept cash or check.

The food was good, but it took over 45 minutes to get it. Memorial day weekend, so it wasn't surprising. Lots of gnats and other bugs, but it's May, so that was expected, as well. But at the end when we got our bill, there's a section at the bottom that says the servers are financially responsible for every item they serve us. It seems like it's geared toward those who are planning on dining and dashing, and I get that. But what about if you order and then are waiting and waiting (like we did) and maybe there's an emergency or you simply have to be somewhere and you've run out of time? I found it tacky to advertise it like that, and the way it was worded made it seem like they don't value their employees.

A cute little beach side bar with plenty of regulars, tourists and a few boats pulling up at the dock.

4 women came for cocktails. Never got waited on. Waitress was visiting with a friend at the bar and never even looked our way. Lost revenue for the bar!!

Make sure that you have time to sit down and wait for your food or drink when it's packed it's quite slow service but the food drinking atmosphere definitely makes up for it

Very neat lake side dining, good food but took a long time.

Was here for my son's wedding. Really over all it's a little over rated. Nice lake side property, makes for nice outside weddings. If you are wanting that quaint water front feel, it's the right place to go. Have enjoyed sitting outside at the Tiki bar on many occasions. What I don't care for is the lack of caring by the management. Weddings are a big part of a person's life a little more accommodations and helpfulness would be a big bonus. Felt like a lot of our questions were just blown off and it was almost like we were intruding rather than a paying customer. For what this place cost to rent and what little service they provided was appalling. As I stated earlier I have been here many many times, this was the first time as a paying customer renting the entire establishment. Was very disappointed in the lack of understanding and caring from the management did not feel at all like to give two Hoots. As I stated felt like we were intruding.

Very cool place. Service was seriously lacking. Waited at the bar for 20 minutes without any service. But the food was good.

We visit the Clear Lake at least once a year and this is a must stop every year. Atmosphere is nostalgic and the food is excellent!

Got in right away plenty of room apart from others but served large Tender Loin that was cold and took awhile to get.

The service was disorganized. We ordered (and it was not that busy even) and it took a very long time for us to get food. One of us ordered a chicken quesadilla. And it came with no chicken. I ordered nachos. And was cold. Cheese not melted. When ordered drinks at the table. Only half came. Had to ask for others. Very bad experience all the way around. Would not recommend

Heard they are not taking credit cards - looks like a tax evasion issue since you can hide cash and only report a fraction of the income? Credit card is a standard today and any business who does not accept credit card is either having financial issues or is trying to maximize top dollar without reporting full and total gross income.

Its casual, come as you are, atmosphere. The food is good. Beer and alcohol are a little spendy but service is good.

They treated us Flat State Riders very well. Food was good and the adult beverages hit the spot. The wife and I along with more riders from the FSR will return guaranteed.

Extremely slow service!We did have a very large party and called ahead so they knew we were coming. Our group was split between 3 tables and had different waitresses. Each table got food at a different time and half our party was done eating before others even got food. Our order was cold by the time we got it! The server did not seem to care at all. Definitely not impressed. Would probably be better in smaller groups and not on a weekend when it's really busy!
